Wesley A. "Wes" Kern

Wesley A. "Wes" Kern, 32, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 8:27 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home. He was born in Goshen, IN on March 24, 1986 to Daniel Kern & Vickie Kuhl.

He attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse and was a lifetime area resident except for 2 years in Panama City, FL. He was formerly employed at the Barbee Marina, Leading Edge in Milford, and Newton’s Excavating in Warsaw.

He formerly attended the Church of God in North Webster.

He is survived by:

Mother – Vickie Kuhl of Leesburg

Father – Daniel Kern of Myrtle Beach, NC

2 Brothers – Adam Kern of North Webster & Nick (Sierra) Kern of Milford

Maternal Grandmother – Phyllis Miller of North Webster

Nieces & Nephews - Talia Kuhl, Calista Kuhl, Piper Kern & and Bennington Kern

He was preceded in death by his brother – Brooks Kuhl.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Private family burial will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw at a later date.
