Willard "Buck" Prater Jr.

Willard “Buck” Prater, Jr., age 50, passed away on Wednesday, November 29th in his home at Sellers Lake.
He was born on April 15, 1967 to Willard Prater, Sr. and Geraldine (Engle) Prater. He attended area schools and spent most of his lifetime in Kosciusko County and Kentucky.
Buck always enjoyed time spent with family and enjoyed teasing them, too. He found pleasure in little things like chopping wood, hunting and fishing and was a listener of country music.
Buck’s family will celebrate his life privately. No public services are planned at this time.
His surviving family includes two sons, Bucky Willard (Prater) Kado and Dustin Blake (Prater) Kado; three sisters: Theresa Ousley of Rochester, Juanita and her husband, Harold Hyde, Sr., of Mentone and Julie Nickell of Florida; a brother, Guber Prater of Sellers Lake and numerous nieces and nephews. Those who preceded him in passing include his parents and a brother, Jeremiah Prater.
