Zelpha Ginter (Witmer)

February 9, 1922 — December 21, 2013

Biography
Zepha Ginter, 91, passed away December 21, 2013 at 7:40 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
Zepha was born February 9, 1922 in North Webster, Indiana to Glen and Sylvia (Miller) Witmer. She was a 1940 graduate of North Webster High School. And on January 4, 1942 in Whitley County, Indiana she became the bride and life partner of fellow classmate, Carlyle L. Ginter. Their young love survived the test of time through their deep faith and trust in God. Zepha and Carlyle celebrated their 71st anniversary this year. Carlyle went to his heavenly home March 13, 2013.
She and Carlyle were co-owners of Ginter Electric - Heating and Cooling from 1950 until 1979 when the business was turned over to their son, Wayne. Zepha was its secretary for many years.
She was a Kosciusko County resident who enjoyed winters in Everglade City, Florida.
A member of First Baptist Church of Warsaw, Zelpha's legacy is her concern for the salvation of others. Zelpha and Carlyle allowed themselves to be used by God to serve as missionaries to those who were in need - whether a meal or place to sleep. She was a great hostess and cook. Their gift of hospitality was second to their deep desire to lead those they met in the Warsaw and Ever Glade City areas to Christ.
Although she will be missed, those who will always remember her with love are also joyful that she has joined Carlyle in their heavenly home where they once again can worship Christ together. Her family includes: son and daughter-in-law: Wayne and Jan Ginter, Warsaw; daughter: S. Anne Mason, Toledo, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and their spouses: Josh Richard, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Mark and Andrea Richard Toledo; Lynnae and Greg Hall of Columbia City, Indiana; and Rod Ginter of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 4 great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was an infant son, Walden Ginter and her sister, Lucille Keck.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Thursday, December 26th from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A celebration of the life of Zelpha Ginter will begin at 12 Noon. Pastor Jim Zaugg of Indianapolis, Indiana will officiate. Burial will follow in North Webster Cemetery.
The staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it a privilege to care for the family and friends of Zelpha Ginter.
